Where the Light Gets In

Inspiration:

Where the Light Gets In is an exploration of vulnerability as a portal to beauty and transformation. The composition is layered with textured surfaces, fractured lines, and delicate fissures—visual metaphors for the wounds we carry and the spaces they open. Shades of gray and black evoke moments of quiet introspection, while soft peach tones bring warmth and humanity. Gold accents emerge from within the cracks, catching light and drawing the eye inward, like moments of grace breaking through pain.

Inspired by the idea that light often enters through what is broken, this work invites viewers to consider the strength found in openness, and the unexpected beauty that can arise from struggle.

It is not about perfection—it is about presence, resilience, and the glow that comes from within.
